Annual Koi Auction Results for 2008!

Another fun filled day enjoying people and koi.  There were four tanks full of beautiful koi to be auctioned off.  The size range was about four inches to 20 inches.  Everyone signed in and got their own koi shaped paddle to bid with.  I was pleasantly surprised to find a very young koi lover in the crowd with her very own paddle to bid ( with mom behind her of course).  Some people had brought in some plants to sell and some for free. And there was a bowl full of mosquito fish available.  The new tanks and air system worked wonderful for the auction.  The Stoker pond was as beautiful as ever and they even bid on a new koi for their oond.  The morning started with a quick meeting and then onto the bidding!!! 

This years auction was held at the Stoker home. Thank you Stokers!!!  Below is a picture of their stunning pond.

Auction results:

Total sales for the day was $1952.50

Lowest selling fish: 5.00

Highest selling fish: 500.00

Most went for between 15.00-40.00

We had about 20 club members and 20 non-members attend.
